Star Trek TNG just made my day. We were able to find a cache of recordings from a tv broadcast, and I’m watching episode one of the first season now – and what I just saw gave me reason to pause and take a screen capture.
I’m sure the costume designers meant well, but this made me laugh so hard I started coughing. This guy’s only on-screen for about a half-second, leading some civilians to safety before a battle scene – but gracious, our greatgreatgreatgreatgreatx10 grandchildren have bad fashion sense! Ahh.. let me see.. I ought to at least put some kind of blog update in here too. Hubby and I had a standard cold for the majority of the past month, perhaps picked up at the fall Lan (computerfest!). We’re both recovered for the most part, excepting a stuffed left ear for me, and doing alright. Mike’s mom is in a fit – her baby (a four-year old cat that is forever going to be called a kitten in her house) is sick, possibly with a hairball blocking up her system. She doesn’t eat much, and she’s bleeding from behind, so we took her into the vet yesterday. The cat is in for an overnight stay and tests, but Mum’s still in a right state – the fuzzball sleeps with her every night.
We helped pay the bill – after loosing her husband, we know how much Mom’s cats mean to her. At least she’s not a freaky cat lady – the receptionist at the vets’ admitted to us that she has sixteen of the mewballs roaming her place! I can only hope she lives on a farm!
Hooray for cats and kilts!
… I just had to add another star-trek funny..
Now only $19.99 – official Star Trek hair clip! (Really the first version of Geordi La Forge‘s visor.) ![]()

I have a book you might be able to find at a nearby library that may shed a little light on this fashion disaster.
The Title is “The Art of Star Trek” and while I am not sure what William Ware Theiss was thinking you can see on pages 88-91 it could have been allot worse.
Author Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens with an introduction by Herman Zimmerman ©1995 Paramount Pictures (The pages may be different but I doubt they would change the layout much in other copies.)
