Other than the melodrama in my brother-in-law’s life, this past month has actually been pretty good. We were really tight in the wallet due to an emergency filling repair I needed at the end of July. What a toothache that was!I’ve had two commissions though from two people in the #dk-furs chat group, who we’ve only recently discovered.
We had made a website meant to be a gathering place for danish furries, but got swatted by the folk from an already existing group. They just hadn’t.. allowed access to their site if you weren’t registered as a member! Hubby ended up getting accquainted though, and now we know a few of the folk there.
Both are pretty.. unique images. The first is of a rubber-fur (someone who likes thew feel of latex and rubber) and his fox-boyfreind turned into a naga. *grin* I told you, unique!
The second is from a fellow who has an inflateable pool toy character, who is a female pink panther. A lot of folk have favorited it on furaffinity, and I think I understand why. It’s a fun picture.
In about four days hubby and I are going to pack up and take a week’s vacation at a hotel in southern germany, just outside Nürenburg, close to the alps. That’s where Eurofurence #13 is being held, and we’re both really looking forwards to being away from the family for a while. ^^;
I’m going to have an artist’s table in the dealer’s den, offering sketches and stuff, and a few prints. It’ll be my first time being sketching for folk at a furry conference, and I hope it goes well!
It has had me a bit nervous, but oh well, I guess I should just go and enjoy myself. :3
