What can I say but wow? I’m up after four hours of sleep just now. It’s nine in the morning, and I have boxes and bags of stuff that I loaded myself last night in preparation for one of the many trips we’re making in moving. Up til this point it’s really been Mike’s work and the family’s, since we’ve been moving in two stages – first Ingelise, Mike’s mom, has been moving her household to her new place, Now it’s Mike and I shuffling things around ’til we’re comfortable in the new place, and moving our own stuff.
I was in such a hassle yesterday, trying to RP and chat and pack at the same time! There’s so much stuff I want to be down at our new place to use and not be missing. It’s only about a kilometer and a half to get to our old apartment, but that’s over 40 meters uphill, and in 2~10 degrees C. We have general storm weather here – we didn’t plan on moving all our stuff at this point, really. We’re three days early, because we dropped the idea of going to the winter break anime lan. Too much hassle in the middle of moving!
Gaaah, did I just bite my tongue over that one. I’m going to need a saturday off (aka, nesting in the new place) before I come out here to pack again. Next time I use my own computer will be when it’s set up at ‘home’ – the new house. That’s where Mike, our adopted kitties (formerly Mom’s, now they own us), the fireplace and much of our food is now – and where I’ll be, soon enough. <:)
